If you're reading this, then you have really good taste in creatives! My name is Roman Rodriguez, an interdisciplinary creative from Los Angeles, CA. I specialize in brand building and creative strategy. I am an alumni of the University of Southern California's Roski School of Art and Design (Fight On!) where I first began my journey into fine arts. My passion to create has been a trait of mine since childhood, and I am grateful to be able to turn that passion into a career.
I am a firm believer in "you reap what you sow," and I nurture my garden with positive energy and a loving community. I often find my inspiration from my family, friends, and all things optimistic. I always channel this energy into my work, striving for excitement, innovation, and creativity. It's my belief that design should be fun, and I carry that same optimistic outlook with everything in my life.
I'm eager to learn everything I can about design, building communities and making connections as I go, and ultimately using design as tool for change. Thanks for being here! I'm excited to bring you with me. 😊
As a creative...
Now more than ever, the fine arts and design have become tools for resistance, love, connection, and innovation. I find myself constantly trying to define what I do and who I want to be. It's easy to lose yourself in all the chaos of the world and trying to keep up with an ever-changing field, but nothing can pull me away from creating from my heart, and infusing my work with positive energy. Designing thoughtful brand identities, creating posters for fun, and bringing more color into the world are how I stay grounded and promote a positive impact on society.
Design is a lot of things: beautiful, helpful, challenging, structured, innovative. For myself, it is my belief that at the end of the day, design should be fun. Living in a world void of excitement, love, and color isn't how we build communities and spread positivity. My job as a designer is to efficiently and effectively visually communicate information in a way that brightens the world. With delicate care and attention to detail, I know my work can change the world.
Creativity, individuality, and satisfaction go hand-in-hand with my work, and I always seek to find the bright side of things. I never settle for less than 100% as my work is a direct reflection of myself and my values. My personal brand is a reflection of who I am and what I stand for, and I am excited to be embarking on this journey of design, growth, and most of all, fun!
